game crashes on start up
I recently "upgraded" my pc to windows ten, and now torchlight 2 crashes on startup. I haven't changed any settings and the game worked fine before I upgraded. any suggestions?

Same for me. I've been emailing back and forth with Runic Support, but no fix for issue yet. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, removed all mods, deleted all characters, deleted anything I could find having anything to do with the game, tried compatibly modes and launching everything as admin. Starting to think I'm out of luck and time to find another game like Torchlight :(

What has worked for me was to reinstall C++ 2008. You might want to try this as well.

My game crashes randomly. Usually after 10-15 minutes of gameplay. Tried disabling Steam Cloud, played with different video settings....all to no avail.
