Can you copy Arkham city content to GOTY to save steam from redownloading things you already have?
Being from Austraila, I have a download limit of 50GB. Having steam download a whopping 17GB for GOTY is going to take a serious chunk out of my monthly allowance. Is there a way I can copy origional Arkham City's content to somewhere that steam will recognize and not forcably download again?

The simple way to do that, if possible, is to launch the initial download of the Steam version and, after 15-30 sec that the download started, stop it and close steam. Go see the folders created in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Batman Arkham City GOTY .
(That is the default foldier of the B:AC files)

Now, check the install you already got and see if the folder seems to have the same names. (the steam one will have empty folders as you stopped the download, but you can still see some of the folders names.)

You'll have to copy some files, but you should NOT touch the files in the primary folder mentionned earlier, but only the 4 folders : Binaries, BmGames, Engine and Setup.

After, (re)start steam. You will have to download some files but not all and, once it's done, do a Cache integrity check. The difference is that all the files that were not GotY will be switched for the good ones. Even if Steam show you that it's supposely downloading all the game again, it's not the case. It will only download the files that are not existant in its repertory. (If you check the download size, initially, it will be the 17Go, but you'll see your download going by 100-300MB/sec sometimes, that's when you actual file reduce the download you have to do.)
