Can't Play Game

I installed QC after recieving a Steam Key for it from a friend, but the game won't launch. It launched fine on my laptop, but when I try to run it on my desktop, a windows stating "Quantum Conundrum has stopped working" immediately pops up.

I had this issue on a notebook and I followed the instructions in the above thread and it did fix my problem. My issue was that the game was stuck in an install loop of some sort by removing the installscript.vdf file this fixed the issue. Here is the location of the actual file:

<yourdrivelocation>\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Quantum Conundrum\installscript.vdf

One other sidenote:

If you are running on a notebook with integrated and discrete graphical options make sure you are running the game with the correct graphics card. In my setup the game selected the integrated card which although able to run the game it did not run it very well. For my setup I used the NVIDIA control panel > "manage 3D settings" and made sure that the selected graphical processor was in fact the NVIDIA discrete card, and not the integrated card.
