TFC Video Options Trouble

I'm one with WIN7 system and switched a video option when playing team fortress. The only thing visible is about a 2 inch square in the upper left corner, I can move my mouse around and hear it clicking oveer the buttons that are on the screen but you can see what button!
I tried going to Steam, Library, Right Click TFC, Properties. In the "set launch para" I tried putting -w1024 -h768, -stretchaspect, -autoconfig, and -nofbo. The last one, -nofbo the only one having any effect and what happened is the screen get full size even more ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up. None of those othe commands did diddly squat. I am in the same boat as you. I JUST installed the game about 30 minutes ago, tried to switch to widescreen mode, and up came the tiny box in the corner. Tried to re-install the game but the same issue happens.

When I saw the title I said to myself "this mofo better had of searched before posting". It seems you've done some research. :)

Is that just a typo? Because I just tested and it has to be like this:
-w XXXX -h XXXX
NOT
-wXXXX -hXXXX
