To be frank, the game is a buggy, annoying mess. It's a "best of" of bugs that can be produced in RPG Maker games. For example, it's possible to block the movement paths of certain NPCs by talking to them from the wrong side, thus freezing the game. Sometimes breaking the game is as easy as leaving a location (like after Jason joins the party in that password-protected cave). Speaking of the password-protected cave, the whole "riddle" can be very confusing, because Christmas is celebrated on different days...

Does anyone know where to find the monster that's left of (prior to) "Meduzaa" in the Monster Notebook? If it can be found in the Desert Mansion like "Meduzaa", I haven't encountered it there so far. Since it's impossible to revisit the Desert Mansion after defeating the boss monster at the top of the mountain, it would be great to know if I missed the monster or if it can (only) be encountered later....

How do I get the string to make the fuse, to get out of the prison, I have tried all I see, what am I missing? TIA
