I wanted to get into this game but it's just meh. While it's cool that it came from a Fire Emblem romhack, the transition to an independent product left many things wanting. Most Fire Emblem games and romhacks don't have that strong a story and heavily relies on the tactical gameplay to make up for it. However this game's combat system have very little depth and is much more grindy. Meanwhile its story is also cookiecutter and doesn't present anything new or interesting. As a result it just feels like a chore to play.

I was seriously considering refunding the game after 1 hour. However they introduced Luckos, the literal gold digging husky. He was so cute that I decided to keep going. At this point it's too late to refund and I'll just consider it a donation to the endeavors of an aspiring indie dev. This game does have some bright spots, the gameplay loop just isn't there.

voice acting talent was incredible, solid gameplay. Story with great twists and turns
