Crash when trying to enter Alex' house
win 7 x64.
anyone have a fix for this? kinda a huge letdown since I was looking forward to playing this game again for so long (SH:H isn't available on the german steam store, unfortunately).

so yeah.. anyone else encountered this issue and found a fix/workaround? had no problems whatsoever up to this point.

FYI: after I've set the resolution down to 1280x720, no further crashes occured.

Getting random crashes here too, gotta try to change the resolution then...

Edit: Changed to 1280x720 and got past the house till the next save without problem (about a flocking hour from truck scene till the save), thank you for the tip.

Thank you so much, this also worked for me.After messing with the resolution options, I passed that point in windowed mode, it happens when you change res. to lower ones I think.
