When will it be released?

I need in the loading screens and even on the death screens crab facts!

I plugged an 8bitdo pro2 controller and the game doesn't recognize it, i can use it to navigate steam picture just fine.

I don't know why. I've never been a Smash player, battle royale player, or online multiplayer...player. But I need this in my life. Hopefully, Iron Pineapple's recent demonstration of this game on Youtube will ensure it has players when it releases. Because I need to be a crab wearing a Santa hat as I launch a mortar and then blow my trumpet in victory before being cut in half from behind by a lobster wielding a katana....
