Extreme Difficulty and other issues.

I bought this with the intention of doing reviews of some under-reviewed games. This seems pretty solid if basic but I can't get over the extreme difficulty of it and a couple of other things. Controls: In my opinion using space for jump instead of w would feel far more natural. On the controller, could the POV d-pad also be set to control the character left and right? Also at the moment the B button is used to jump. I think A feels more natural. maybe with B as rotate to the right and X to rotate to the ...
