Greetings, adventurers! I hope your travels are going well. Here's a small update with some graphical adjustments and quality-of-life improvements:

As requested on the discussion boards, I've added an option for free camera movement! The camera no longer follows the active/selected character and can now be moved freely, even during enemy turns. You'll find this setting in the options menu.
Adjusted contrast slightly - colors should now appear more vivid.
Fixed an issue where the objective window wouldn't disappear on very wide screens.
Fixed visual issues in the airship.
Fixed a few typos.

Spellpowder: Uprising is released!

After a long wait (5+ years!) Spellpowder: Uprising is finally released. Much work and love went into this and I hope you'll enjoy the game at least as much as I enjoyed making it.
If you encounter any issues or have some feedback, feel free to use steam discussion board or even join a discord server, where I can answer that.
And of course leaving a steam review is always helpful!

Only Month Left

Greetings, Tacticians!

Only one month left until the release of Spellpowder: Uprising! The game is nearly complete, with all content in and marked for review. What remains are some final balancing adjustments and bug fixes (I’ve already squashed a few, but there are always more to find!).

Loving every minute of it. A really fun indie tactical strategy, has story, lore, cinematics, exciting upgrade system and above all, the characters are really fun and distinct. That's the part I wasn't excpecting from a small indie studio - characters that you care for, level up their affinity and while getting more and more of their background.

The artstyle is fantastic and really keeps it's charm all the way through! Genuinely enjoyed the story and the pacing is excellent, really excited to see what Rogandir do next (would love a continuation of this!)

Demo Feedback

Really was suprised how simple but fun the demo was. The combat feels solid, the characters seem oki, story is a nice thing to build onward. Game feels a bit slow and laagy but that might be just me. Still i have to ask will there be repatable battels or any other option to gain exp or loot or just to have fun not pushing the story foward. Keep up the great work and defnitlly going to my wish list....

Option to turn off the camera lock?

A bit of demo feedback...

First off, had a bunch of fun with the demo. A few minor things I think could improve it or would be nice. 1. A few more portraits for character creation and/or selectable hair color. Even if it's just 4-5 hair colors for each race, like white, blonde, brown, black, and red it'd be nice. 2. Auto-collect the loot piles after combat. 3. If possible, it'd be very nice to make it so that the actions a character took that got them to their level up heavily weigh the stat gains toward what those actions benefi...

Neat demo

I messed around the demo a little bit and I have two suggestions: damage prediction (that is, an estimate of what the to-hit and damage is per attack), and movement undo (button to undo a movement that's already been enacted, cannot be used after attack). Seems interesting otherwise, were you planning on gamepad support?...
