Mac/Linux Support?
Noticed in steamdb (http://steamdb.info/app/17580/#section_history) that there's signs of Linux support. Will Mac and Linux versions of the mod be coming soon?

We do hope to eventually release Mac and Linux versions of Blade Symphony. This however will not happen until after we release the game and it is out of Early Access.

Huh?

Oops. My bad lol. I thought this was on a different Steam forum.

To answer the question, I don't think it is likely to happen. The new version of Dystopia, 1.4, wasn't something that was planned, Twincannon just decided to go ahead and do it.
For 1.4 the code had to be ported over, again (for the third?, fourth time? in Dystopia's history), to a new version of the Source SDK. I imagine he would have to do the same each time for a Mac and then a Linux version which I don't think he will want or be able to do so.

Ah ok lol, I saw the depots with Linux & Mac and it looks like from the depots and the patch notes mentioned using Source SDK 2013, so that's why I was asking

Those depots can be a bit misleading, not intentionally though.

Ok, would be great to see but I understand. I am looking forward to Blade Symphony too if/when that happens

Blade Symphony is on early access if you didn't know that already.

I've already bought it from when I was using Windows, so I'm looking forward to Linux

Nice. We hope to have a Linux version of Blade Symphony when possible.

I can download Dystopia via Steam on my Ubuntu machine. Does that mean that the game now supports Linux?

This was a great game. Very unique play. I would love to have more players.

No, it doesn't mean that unfortunately. You can however run it in Wine.

Dystopia installed in my Linux Steam. The full install. I got it to almost run. (Natively)
