A sequel to "Click everything like crazy and perhaps there is a poorly defined puzzle there". It's very much more of the same from the first game, with all the flaws that came with that. I'm not sure if this actually is a game that might work better for people who don't play a lot of games and just want to explore a virtual scrapbook and the narrative, because i play a lot of puzzle games and have seldom been as frustrated as I've been with this game. Not frustraded because it's hard, i like hard puzzles, but they have to be designed in a good way.

Usually you at least get a vague hint on what you are suposed to do and what is a puzzle and what is just random stuff you click on. Even the first game wasn't as frustrating as this. It's not especially hard, it's just to arbitrary and the mechanics are really poorly explained. And especially in the first area, I searched forever for the last piece of the portrait, no idea if it was just glitched (a lot of people have reported glitches) or if i missed something, however, the game seams like it knows this can happend and let you finish the game after you found almost all portraits anyway...

The "family scrapbook" framing device is a nice idea, but the execusion is very poorly implemented, IMO. I'm not sure I will bother with the next chapter.

This chapter had some frustrating bugs and felt quite short compared to Chapter 1, However, the puzzles in this chapter are more challenging, which makes it much more fun and engaging. I absolutely adored the storytelling it made me feel like a part of the family. I'm eagerly looking forward to Chapter 3.
