Another week, another update ✨!

As our community continues to grow, we've been closely listening to your feedback and bug reports. We've been actively engaging with everyone on our Discord[discord.gg], answering questions & comments, and of course, exchanging with our fantastic community members.

At the same time, our dev team has been hard at work to resolve any potential issues and to improve your player experience. So, we're thrilled to unveil yet another update just in time for your upcoming weekend gaming sessions!

Here is what's in this week's update:

🗺️ A New Map: Breeze Islands

"Breeze Island" is a tiny Island notable for its many Windmills. A small market and mountainous terrain offer a good starting point for some adventuring.

⚙️ Improvements and Fixes

UI / UX

Improved sorting logic for entries of the Map Browser.
My Maps Tab: Entries are now sorted by last changed ascending.
Official Map Tab: Entries are now sorted by name ascending.
Public Map Tab: Entries are now sorted by likes descending.
Improved sorting logic for entries of the Character Browser
My Characters Tab: Entries are now sorted by last changed ascending.
Official Characters Tab: Entries are now sorted by name ascending.
Added a new Info Popup when attempting to access character sheets of miniatures, that are owned by other players.
Improved the "unavailable" message inside the context menu "Full Dive" option, when attempting to Full Dive into a miniature that is not available for Full Dive,

Charactersheet
Corrected the AC Calculation for heavy armor
Corrected the AC calculation for unequipping armor

Gameplay
Fixed a bug where the context menu could become non-responsive (for example after deleting a map asset)
Fixed some floating assets on the "Elder Dragon Lair" Map.
Fixed some floating assets on the "Winter Festival" Map.
Fixed a Bug where the hover outline of a miniature could get stuck (after Full Dive).
Fixed a Bug where players were able to Full Dive into miniatures using the context menu even if they were missing rights.

Miscellaneous
Updated the in-game newsboard with the new player survey.

Thesis: So it's really criminally stupid to start such a promotion and expect success with it. If you're too stupid to think of an effective marketing strategy, I won't buy a game from you because I don't trust you to program it!! If you want to test the game, then one friend should "sacrifice" themselves and pay €50 and then everyone else can play for free? Wouldn't it just make more sense if the game costs €7.99 for everyone in a lite version and then there is a GameMaster DLC lite f...

This is our first larger patch after the first week of the launch of the Player Edition!

First and foremost we want to say "Hello" to all the new players:

Having said that, let's get into this week's content:

🗺️New Assets!

1. New Map: Highland Ruins

We have added a brand new map to the official map tab called "Highland Ruins".

In the "Highland Ruins" a mountainous path leads to an ancient ruin that isn't as uninhabited as it initially seems.

2. New Map: Elder Dragons Lair

Expanding on the "Vulcano Map", the "Elder Dragons Lair" Map is the final confrontation with an ancient beast. Multiple paths lead through these dangerous crumbling ruins in the midst of a volcano. The ultimate test of bravery and perseverance!

🔧 Fixed Issues

Fixed a bug where players could get scorpion legs after map change if they were crawling during the map change
Fixed dice, rolled by tabletop players still generating sound effects even when you're in Full Dive mode and unable to see them.
Fixed a rare bug where the hover HP bar could be visible in the main menu

Added "Offline Play" to the main menu to improve the menu flow and make menu navigation clearer for new players.
Fixed a bug where hosting games was not possible when the user's system time was incorrect.
Fixed a bug where dice thrown by tabletop players were visible for miniatures

Scifi campaigns

I really like this idea and I have a few questions. 1) Are there scifi options? I run a starfinder campaign with friends and just want to continue that even with people not in the same state. 2) if not will that be in a future update or will I have to pay extra for that? 3 If this is just staying fantasy will there be an ability to have scifi weapons like in the back of the PHB or DMG?...

There's no way you're getting you and 4 friends to play a 4+ hour session in VR specifically in this one VTT when roll 20, Table Top Sim, and now DnDBeyond Maps exist already

A bit disappointed by the price

I've been looking forward to this for a while. I'm really surprised and disappointed by this price point. I don't mind paying it, but I can't expect my players to buy this when there are other free/lower price options. I figured it would be free or cheap with paid add on. As the DM, I'm happy to buy the system and additional things like minis, textures, cosmetics. It really isn't fair to ask that of my players, though. I understand that the devs deserve to get paid, but there has to be a better approach....

Still not a sale worth considering, sad I wish this would drop a good amount to make it worth while to pick up. Going down to _$23 still isn’t worth grabbing. To add to this a little more i think im going to remove it from my wishlist and just stick to roll20 since i dont think the devs really care much....
