Need some HELP-Unable to launch the game.

I've been having problems with the Tribes Ascend program immediatly closing itself as it starts-it boots up past the starter screen, patched and updated, then proceeds to launch the game, where I encounter a screen that pops up saying 'Tribes Ascend has stopped working' or somesuch, and asks me to either automatically troubleshoot the problem-which I have-or close the program. I have uninstalled/reinstalled the game multiple times and repaired it in numerous attempts. I can find no fix, if anybody has a new answer-please, send me a tell.

Got the exactly same problems, it seems to happen randomly. My drivers and hardware are up to date.

same here i uninstalled tribes to get the deals with unlocks here on steam the game worked before but now after installing through steam wont launch.....same here any fix would be great

found the fix on tribes forums as i have installed Dishonored or any other Physx game re-install this http://www.nvidia.com/object/physx-9.12.1031-driver.html and it should fix tribes for you as it did for me

Updating Physx will fix the problem .

I discovered that oIITSBIIo is actually correct, if you update the Nvidia software (I think I spelled that right) called Physx, it will fix the game up for you, yourself, and us. Done and proven myself for this particular problem, thanks man. /Internetfive
