Console commands?

So far this game is quite poopy and I hear there are a couple console commands to use however, all the insructions I've found on the internet have saide the same thing: 'Add the -console command line parameter to end of the "Target" field in the "Shortcut" properties that are used to launch the game.' I've tried this but nothing seems to work.

Anyone had success with this?

Doesn't work for me either. Maybe it was removed for Steam? Or changed?
