Dangerous Waters Keeps Running In-Background

Couldn't think of a title better than this, but the real problem is that steam keeps saying that it is running, when I exit the game and I have to shutdown and open steam again for it to 'exit'. Anyone else having this problem?

Yeah, I have this problem too. I can't end the process either.

EDIT: What fixes it is ending Speech Recognition, since game starts it up w/o your consent.

Is there a way to disable Dpeech Recognition in a whole, because I never use it and it always lags when I try to use it in-game.

Not sure, but you can ask on subsim.com, I think they might have a solution.

Let me know here too, since it annoys me as well.

For some reason it now fully exits the game when I close it, and I didn't do anything to it.

Update, I don't know why but ever since I last posted it exits without running the the background.I think I might have messed with the audio settings in game and turned off the voice control thing on startup.

Same issues here! Steams help section keeps saying to verify game files. Every time I find the game running after exiting, I do the verify game files. And every time I do that it re-writes my keyboard shortcuts IN GAME. RIDICULOUS! The issue seems to be with the voice recognition drivers that DW loads. When I go into the game I DO NOT have voice enabled and yet everytime I get this popup warning saying no input device detected!?!?!? Please fix this crap because if I turn this off in the game, why is it STILL loading the software!?!?!?
