Cute game with potential.
Goblin stone is very fun, for awhile.
Breeding, gearing and changing the skills on your goblins to shape a functioning raiding party is a great way for variation. The only problem is the depth and weight on theese things.

The game does what it does great, Theres just not enough of it.
Add more skills and weapons. In the future another equipment slot maybe for hats?
Also expand on the mortally wounded thing. Its a good way for rotating goblins and keeping up with the breeding part of the game.
I dont think it should change, I think it would be fun to have more of it. A big hit on a goblin might give a severe wound, that breaks a leg and permanetly halfs their speed, before it mortally wounds them or maybe both? and then add more statuses.
Broken rib (takes more damage)
broken arm (skills cost increase)
scared for its life (enters combat stunned)
hit in the nuts and cant breed anymore ? =)
and I know theres other games that have a system like this (but its great) but having rooms for recovering from theese statuses would also be nice.

Theres a bunch of possibilities to evolve this game and I hope that it will.
I really like what the game is right now and I love it with half my heart. I want to love it with my full heart.

In all my years of gaming I've never played a game that was more bugged than this one. Even though the concept is good and interesting on paper, game breaking bugs are making the game unplayable. I have never given a negative review in steam but this game really deserves it. Even after almost a couple of months since the release there are still game-breaking bugs that haven't been fixed. Also the game obviously never got play tested.

There is no true progression aside from chapters, random shop weapons and shrine bonuses that can lead to losing a goblin at any %. Every chapter has a cap for goblin stats to max out. There are weapons you can randomly buy that can give an edge. You can filter breed to get traits to minmax. That's it, just a single loop that gets harder every chapter you get to. And then there are the bugs and game ending corrupt save file incident. I'm not going into my app data and deleting an auto save to roll back only to lose hours of play. This isn't early access, played up to 26 hours only to get the breeding grounds glitch that resulted in my save being bad.

You're supposed to kill, retire goblins off to advance so no naming or getting attached. That doesn't matter when you max stats with same traits only to retire to do it all over again on next chapter with higher numbers. There just numbers to an ends. The only real edge I felt was with the shop weapons that added to a goblin's abilities. Shrines that give permanent bumps to stats can corrupt and ruin a goblin at any %. Feels like there's a memory leak and game chugs along unless you reset. Repetition even the narrator repeats the same lines over and over again. Every run you are given bonuses to cards, stats and random weapon drops all of which go away at the end of a run. Only thing that stays are the corrupted shrine bonuses (if you don't lose a goblin to %) and any loots found or bought from merchant.


Great concept, Darkest Dungeon goblin edition but minus everything that makes Darkest Dungeon great. Side by side Darkest Dungeon is the super deep swimming pool with an Olympic diving board and this game is the two inch kiddie wading pool with a hole in it and almost empty of water.
