After install, runner looks for, " CrooksLikeUs.x86_64 ", which does not exist. This means Steam fails to start the game. Steam installs " Crooks Like Us.exe ", which is a " PE32+ executable (GUI) x86-64, for MS Windows " according to the file command. I'm yet to try forcing it to use Proton to see if Proton compatibility works or not....

I was very interested in this game as a shared/split-screen bit of fun for me and my absurd friends to play over a few drinks. In many ways it's exactly what we like, but... I can't see from the videos or store page how a player would be incentivized to make large piles to bring back rather than just targetting their friends for a steal repeatedly and camping out near the van. There seems to be an obvious "first order optimal strategy" here that runs counter to the game's most fun aspect of making piles ...

Launching it through Steam seems to lock the resolution at 720p-ish fullscreen even though I'm on a 1440p monitor, and I don't see a way to change that in the Settings menu. There's not even a way to exit fullscreen. OS: Arch GNU/Linux
