Very much similar to Super Mega baseball 3.
You can easily set difficulty that you prefer to play and scale up slowly till you get to 99+ (if you hunt achievements)

For casual players its a good game that has no drawbacks really.

Coming from SMB2, this is a substantial upgrade. I felt like SMB3 was basically just a big patch when compared to SMB2 but this iteration is definitely worth it if you're coming from one of the predecessors.

Im obsessed with this game currently. I have been wanting a PC port/replacement for MLB the Show on Steam for so long, and I finally found it. After being frustrated with the latest Show 24, I'm so glad I forced myself to properly sit and get used to how these games play because they are just so fun and rewarding.

Im a big fan of the goofy cartoony art style, the colourful and varied ballparks, the hilarious character names and animations, and just the general vibe of a baseball game clearly made from love and passion. I started with Franchise mode, as that is what people talk about playing the game for most and its lived up to the hype. I've loved taking over a team and piecing together a band of misfit players without needing to deal with over the top salary management, drafts and strategy. Just pick the players that look good and go play. After picking up SMB3 a couple years ago and having it not click for whatever reason, I am so glad I picked this up on sale, I can see myself putting so many more hours into this making my own leagues and championships.

basically if you are looking to move on from MLB The Show get this and let yourself get used to it, its the best baseball game out there currently.
