The product was SEGA's to develop, SEGA paid the salary and SEGA owns the IP. SEGA took the financial risk and burden. Who is this entitled little sh1t thinking that he somehow owns the game or has any rights towards it and throwing about a load of crap publically? Biting the hand that feeds you much? And after waiting this many years? If the dev was so all knowing and brilliant, why didn't he go and develop on his own skills and paycheck? Oh wait... The developer literally said in the Twitter thread that SEGA wanted a God of War style hack and slash game but the presented them with this instead, and he's butthurt that they cancelled it? SEGA payed for all development costs of this prototype, if they didnt like what they saw, they had every right to cancel the game AND every right to release the prototype as an aniversary gift to the fans....

this game looks awful even for it's time. SEGA execs knew what they were doing and produced some of the best games in the history of the industry and still do today. They didn't produce this game in the end because it's bad and the developers just couldn't cut it in a competitive industry. I just see this issue as a dev that didn't get the job done right and wanted 15 minutes of fame so he chose to portray himself as some victim of corporate apathy. The game is awful, Sega is not....
