Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time

Does it get harder?
I got to the part where the prince saves the princess from the big old demon guy, and that part is long and tough, but does it get harder later on?

SoT has some quite tough parts, especially some fights where you have to defend Farah to not get her killed - sometimes that's a bit unfair.
But don't get frustrated by that, the game is worth the effort. Mostly you just need patience.

What part?
Some of the later battles are VERY difficult, there was one moment on a bridge where I was ready to throw my controller at the screen with frustration, it annoys me how easy it to get trapped on the ground when you're surrounded by sand creatures and repeatedly hit until death, with no chance to get up; that said, the game is still amazing, and the feeling of relief and pride when you finally defeat a seriously hard part is always nice. :-)

I guess.
i never felt that the difficulty got any harder as i progressed. it pretty much stayed the same while throwing a few more baddies at you. i loved this game for the puzzles, platforming, and story.. the combat in the Sands of Time was never my cup of tea. Warrior Within and The Two Thrones were better in that department. :)
the fights really only get longer, but not much harder.
Battles aren't too difficult once you realise you can vault/wall-vault off most of the enemies :) The most challenging part is probably the part near the end without the dagger for a while, but I have to agree, it's a brilliant game.

Having more and more baddies to fight as you go along is what ups the difficulty level.

The puzzles and story make this game one of my favourites as they are implemented well. :-)
It gets more difficult, but not harder, if that makes any sense. Combat gets more complex, the platforming becomes faster paced in places, and trying to keep Farah alive towards the end can be a nightmare, but the Sand Sultan is definitely the most frustrating part of the game.
You think this game's difficult, try the sequel. ;)
