Hi :) Is the game still broken regarding the save crash? And last update was in June 2023? Did they give up?

It looks like there are a lot of issues with this game judging from forum posts and reviews. Are they still working on it or no?

So this game seems fascinating to me, and such a price drop! but you read the reviews, and it seems like it is broken with no hope of being fixed. I mean, buyer beware and all that, but Steam shouldn't foster such cynical business practices.
