This game realy dosen't have a multiplayer component ?

Every time i've tried it just "fails". Haven't tried in a while

It used to, but that's shut down.

You actualy still can play grid online using tunngle hamachi or something like that.

Just use Tunngle and play online though the LAN option in the game.

Is LAN still in the Steam game? If not, you would probably have to buy the disc and use the disc installation. Maybe. Or not. Tunngle and GameRanger.

Valve should setup their own gamespy to revive games like BF2 and Crysis 2 to name just a couple. They sell the games in the Steam Store still so multiplayer should still be supported for games like GRID.
