Bug fixes and some new features:

Bug fixes:
Fixed Directshow support.
Fixes to the desktop/VR UI that was causing issues with UI not being usable in VR.
Fixes to Custom dome options.
Fixed and improved Spout support.

Features:
Addition of WinRT video path which allows for smoother playback.
Presentation mode in Multiplayer that restricts the clients so that all controls are in the hands of the host. Good for presenting a film festival or presenting to people with less knowledge of Festoon.
The first implementation of audio/mic use in multiplayer allowing people to talk to each other in the multiplayer environment.
Added Super Sampling slider to improve image quality on more powerful systems.
Update to latest SDK's, Unity version etc.

mouse jumps

hey, First of all, where would you like the bug reports? Here or through the website? My mouse pointer is jumping of when clicking on the theater window. Same with lighting options in the lower right corner. The mouse pointer does not hang on to them and jumps off if it is not directly over the light controls. I am also interested in 360 video controls, but can't seem to find them. FOV, tilt and so on. The FOV is for theater view only. Perhaps that is for the Player version? Thanks...

Festoon 2.31 Update

Hi all

This is the first update to Festoon to 2.31, partly driven by user feedback and partly driven by general updates. Here is a list of the updates since the first release.

Explorer remembers previous location between sessions.
Added 180/360 degree FOV for equirectangular environment.
Added 180/360 equirectangular options for the dome environment.
Added rotation for both fisheye and equirectangular.
Added tilt options for equirectangular videos in Dome and Equirectangular environments.
Added media rotation options for fisheye in dome environment.

Festoon is in it's early stage of release and we very much appreciate feedback from the users to help improve it.

Great software! Here are a few ideas. Dome environments: - Further options: Orientation of the chairs towards the centre - Starball in the centre. Variable in height and diameter - Insertion of cardinal points - Cross reflections on/off (As with the environments also on the dome: Great job! :) ) - Regions fixed where no chairs should be created ( to simulate the aisles). - More virtual screens (monitor 1 + monitor 2) - Screen sharing in multiplayer Workflow: - Automatic generation of a to-do list ...

Can you tell me a little more about what features are planned for the pro edition? I'd hate to invest in the standard edition, only to find out later that the pro edition is what I need. Maybe there will be an upgrade path? Thanks.

Is this like a Bigscreen for 360?

If it is, I'm so IN! I'm working on 360 Documentaries and have yet to find a real-time 360 movie screen to share and collaborate with others on. If this is what it sounds like then THANK YOU!! I'm looking forward to seeing and hearing more about this.
