Killing Floor: Workshop not working!

So I have killing floor off of steam, duh, but more specifically for mac. I have downloaded multiple mods AKA subscriptions such as the Dead Space pack, Weapon muts, maps etc... Most worked but since 2 days ago any new subscriptions I make dont even download and I know that you must be at the game menu for the download to proceed but nothing happens. When ever i click on the killing floor workshop (from the game menu) nothing happens. If anybody could help that would be great :)

Bump. Having the exact same problem. started using the workshop yesterday or so and noticed that i couldn't access the workshop from in-game. also having problems with my subscriptions; when i subscribe the file gets in the list of things to download but whenever i restart steam i have to subscribe all over again. so far, no item from the workshop has been downloaded. it's not in any of my KF or Steam directories either.

WTF?? DAMN. EVerywhere i look online the only type of solutions work for pc. I dont know how to find any kf folders

I'm having the same problem with the workshop not working for me either.
@Dezmondo007 Wouldn't the KF folders be in the Steam directory, under Common?

I looked into the mac library>steam contents>macOS>Steam(folder not icon)> games> and found no killing floor folders. I have an Imac if that helps at all

What i don't get the most is that before everything was working! Today i played an online game which required me to download the afghanistan (butchered spelling) map. It worked but after when I went into the solo section the new map was nowhere to be found. I also can't access the workshop from the game menu...THIS IS FRICKEN TERRIBLE! i'm looking everywhere and can't come up with any helpful answers

That's normal. The map was downloaded to your cache, not added to your maps folder. Use a program called KFCacheExtractor to move those maps and mutators to the proper KF folders so they will be available for your use offline.

I had a similar problem with my subscribed items not showing up. Uninstall both the game and the SDK and reinstall both. That fixed the problem for me. As for the location of the folder I use a Windows PC. Its located in My harddrive>Program Files>Steam>Steamapps>Common>Killing Floor. You should search your computer for the Steamapps folder. I'm sure MAC's have the ability to search the computer for files.

Try this path instead:

iMac HD (or whatever you called it) / users / (your user name) / library / application support / killing floor / ... etc.

I tried this as well and Killing floor is not in library. When i searched for killing floor and opened package contents all i found was "info.plist" "macOs" (containing "run.sh"), "resources" containing "shortcut.icns" WHY OH WHY! I reinstalled the game and unsubscribed most of my subscriptions and tried subscribing to new ones one at a time and still no progress!!!

@dezmondo007, Did you delete the Killing Floor SDK as well? The SDK can be located under Tools in the Steam application. Open Steam, click View, then click Tools.

yeah It says that KILLING FLOOR SDK is unavailable. WHY did subscriptions work and then not!

I have had no progress when I tried it awhile back, but when I came back to play a little killing floor, the game automatically installed all the stuff I subbed to.
I'm not sure what caused this, since I myself did not tamper with any of the killing floor files, so I assume that one of the new updates fixed my steam workshop for me.

If you guys are still having issues, feel free to still post your related issue on this forum, and I will try my best to give any feedback that may be of help.
Though in most cases, if i don't reply, that'll usually mean I can't seem to find a solution for your problem.

Though now that I recall, I did edit the sound files in the kf folders to make it play different music, as well as tried playing killing floor by setting it up as a "non-steam game".
(Which can be done by clicking on the "Games" tab, and select "Add a Non-Steam Game to my Library.")

I don't think this is the reason why it has worked for me, but if you wish to, you may try it out.
