1. If you are not online it will not save your progress
2. If you are using a mutator that is grey listed it will not save your progress ( to check, google Killing Floor mutator grey list)
3. If you are using sandbox it will not save your progress
4. If the sever you played on used a grey listed mutator it will not save your progress
Nowadays I often find that the achievements and perk progress I have supposedly acquired disappear when I quit KF. I assume this is because the server had a greylisted mutator of some kind. This is disappointing because I always have the Valve Anti-Cheat option set 'on'. There must be some discrepancy between what qualifies in the server browser, and what qualifies when synching after the game. The server browser has never been a particularly good feature of KF...
I tend to move between servers regularly, to make certain I don't spend a whole evening racking up headshots (or shotgun damage, whatever) and then find that they haven't counted. A proper fix for this problem would be appreciated, though!
Meanwhile, in a related problem, some kids are using stupid easy levelling maps to grind their perks without actually learning how to play. Can we have a clear, better policy on what is valid gameplay and what isn't, Tripwire?
Here is the way you can find out about thing in Killing Floor you do not know about. Use this link [lmgtfy.com]
Exactly as described in the guide? Who would have thunk it. You are welcome. Enjoy!
