Sacred Gold

Sacred Gold

Graphics problem, almost unplayable!
Hello everyone, I thought that if I can't find the solution on google I can at least ask here. My main issue is with the graphics in game. They are what I can say are "twitching" and just look like an overall mess. It happens anywhere, and is most noticable inside what I can guess are buildings, which don't even render and inside portion other than props. I have updated all my drivers and the sorts. I am running on Windows 8, and an intel 4000 card. If anyone has found a solution it would really help, as I would love to play this game. Cheers!

Whats your graphics card?
I listed Intel HD 4000 inside my post.

I don't have a solution, but I do have an intel hd4400 and I experience the same problem. It's a crappy intel driver problem. These glitches occur in more 2d games, like FTL. FTL is still playable though, Sacred is not. Unfortunately.

Hey, I had this problem as well. It was really annoying. I followed this guy's advice, and it has worked for me. No graphic bugs, no weird resolution. Just working perfect! :D

"I had two problems under Win 81. with GForce 820M:

1) It did not start at all - i fixed that, by unchecking the intro movies in the congig.exe
2) Once i started a game, the graphics was weird disorted. I fixed that by starting sacred 2 in Win XP SP3 compatibility and switch in game to low Gaphics Quality level.

Now it seems to work fine!

EDIT: sadly problem 2 did happen again as i left the starting area"

(You can find the rest of the posts in "Will this run on windows 8?" I don't know if it will work for you, but it worked for me. and I didn't have any problem when I left the starting area. Hope it helps.)
