I can play sr2, I can't play this on my current computer. The audio just makes it unplayable. I wonder if the ps2 version on a emulator would work.

This game was released in 2006, for PS2. It's going to be hard no matter what. You haven't clearly played Saints Row 2... or GTAIV for PC. Controls are really stupid ..

It's your own fault if you don't reconfigure your controls. I literally just 100% this game (waiting for the credits to finish) and the whole time I used a mouse and keyboard.

You DO know that you can remap the controls, right? I've made mine similar to the controls of GTA, and the game plays perfectly fine.

This is a fine port! And if you don't like the PC controls, you can rebind them or plug in a 360 controller. This game has the Metal Gear Solid problem, of there being something really bugging you (in MGS's case, long cutscenes) but you can just get rid of it (i.e. by skipping them).
