San Andreas stopped Working

Bought San Andreas yesterday, worked fine when I first tried it out then went out for a few hours and when I came back and tried to play it wont open up when i press play. I have windows 8 and I already tried to reinstall it and it didn't work. Is there a way to fix this or will there be a patch coming anytime soon?

seriously i just stop playing a bit ago and it doesnt wanna start up -_- and im seeing so many ppl having the same problem steam or someone needs to fix this ♥♥♥♥!

why not the steam version is the exact same thing exept that it is harder to mod

If I wanted to pirate the game, I wouldn't have paid the money for this. I don't care about modding the game or messing with it in any way. I just want what I paid for from a "reliable" service to actually work

i look at it this way you paid the developers and steam and i know it sucks but hey if it is the only way. And i have tried both versions and it is almost the same.
