Mouse Problems in windows 8

the mouse works fine but when i go into the menu to do something and go back into the game the mouse freezes up and i cannot use it.

Seems like you're not alone. I have it too. Just press ESC a couple of times and it should go away

ESCAPE DIDN'T WORK FOR ME, UNFORTUNATELY

Solution is easy. Translate it after me not that much :D You start game. Then press CTR+ALT+DEL and open... sorry, I have my native language in Windows so I'm not sure about exact name. Like all of the process you're running. Find GTA.exe, right click with your mouse and open... look I tottaly have no idea how to translate it. It's third option from bottom. Right under Setting priority. It will lead you to in how many CPU's program is running. And you must choose ONLY ONE CPU. Alt+TAB to return to game and mouse will work. Hope I helped.

same problem, with all GTA 3 version, i can't use mouse in game, and i'm using Windows 8
