yeah I'm having trouble with opening the game. It'll load for a second and then just wont open. I've checked the local files three times and I've redownloaded the game. I've got it to work once but it wont open after that.

Holy ♥♥♥♥, you must be doing something wrong here, it should run smoothly. Try running at medium settings, since I can't exactly run the game at max and I should run the game really nicely with my specs. Rockstar has some ♥♥♥♥ with the PC Ports, seriously.

There are a few things that do not work on my Win8-64 bit PC, but work fine on a Win8-32 bit machine.
Unfortunately some of them interfere with some of the missions:
Burglary: you'll die/warp around/fall through the floor.
Diving: you can't. I can go underwater, but not stay or swim underwater.
Swimming: you can swim all you want. but you will not swim faster.
Driving school: challenge 12 (I think), the barrel roll. Impossible for me to make this on this pc. Got it on 1st try on win8-32bit pc.
Motorbike School: challenge 2: as soon as I touch a button, it fails.

It's either Win8-64 bit, or a lot of Ram (I have 16Gb) that causes these problems.

Literally every problem mentioned is because you have the Frame Limiter off.

It works on Windows 8, even though windows 8 sucks balls
