SA troubles...

GTA SA is still awesome, even after almost 10 years, but:

EVERY single time i start it up via Steam , the Rockstar logo screen is black, i can hear the music from that screen but i can't see anything.

SOMETIMES the mouse doesn't work at all, sometimes in game, sometimes in the menus

SOMETIMES the saved games just won't load, the game freezes and the comp must be restarted...

It's some standard issue for running the game now on Win 8.1/7 ( now i got 8.1, but 2 months ago i had the same problems on 7 )?? There are some mods for skipping these.... issues??

GTASA don‘t support the double core…so…you can launch the task manager and use the one core.

1. Go to the installation folder
'C:Program Files...\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto San Andreas\'.

2. Right click 'gta-sa.exe' and select properties.

3. Go under 'Compatibility' tab at the top.

4. Under 'Compatibility mode', check 'Run this program in compatibility mode for:' and select the system your computer is running on.

5. Now click 'Apply' than 'OK'

This should help with the intro problem.
