Song restoration mod?

I was considering picking this up, but I heard that a number of songs got removed recently due to licensing issues. Is there a mod to download that restores the cut content?

I have reinstalled my vice city since this and the first song I herd was billie jean so IDK if its due to me buying the game well before or they didnt realy remove them.

It's because you bought it before, yeah. People who bought the game before the songs were removed aren't affected; it's only people who buy the game now.

Which kind of disincentivizes actually buying, as opposed to... yeah.

When was the songs actually cut? I got the GTA pack not too long ago and all the songs seem to still be there.

You could always download a "deluge" and replace the radio station audio. It's total bs that they still sell the game without the original content. Rockstar should've secured a contract that allowed the content to be transferred to another media in the future.

Or you could always throw mp3s of the music in the custom channel and listen to it that way...either way you'll either need to download the original game or download (or rip) the music.

Personally I always modded the Deluxo into The Time Machine from back to the future and turned the Undercover Police Cheetah into a Starsky and Hutch Gran Torino and then I'd throw all sorts of music from the mid 70s to the mid 80s in there.

I got the game as a gift 3 weeks ago, and those songs are still in game as far as I know (I only recgonize the first 3 songs). The Lionel Richie song I think was removed from the original PC release way back in 2003.

I just bought the game a couple weeks ago and Bark at the Moon is absolutely still in the game. Not sure about the others... Pretty sure I heard Gotta Be Starting Something too

I just bought the game and see this after activation "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City New Audio ROW". I guess it means it's missing songs. Any way to restore them?

alot of pepole still have the songs in the new audio copys you should check in game first to see if the song are in the playlist start a new game and skip the first cutscene and get on the bike if the song plays is billyjean you have all the songs if its self controll you dont

Does anyone know exactly which "couple of songs from Radio Espantoso" are missing? I've spent way too long trying to figure out which ones got cut. I loved that radio channel.
