How do I properly restore a previous backup?
I've made a post in the forums but no one has answered yet. I was about 5 missions away from the end I really want to finish the game.

Save games are in your docs folder (GTA3 User Files). if you didnt back those up, you probably lost it.

As far as im aware, in the case of gta3, Steam only backs up the games files, not your saves.

Im at a mission where I have 8 minutes to drive to all 3 islands and destroy esspresso stands in random locations of each. Some serious bogus.

I have my GTA3 User Files, but now GTA III won't even lunch.
