I just encountered a nasty game-breaking bug and lost a lot of progress. While I explored the desert, I came across the temple and entered it (probably when I still wasn't supposed to do this). When I reached the Crypt of the Emperor, I couldn't move the boulder to reach the boss, so I left - just to be spawned behind the counter at Valour's item shop! Played for 16 hours and was totally enjoying story, battles, and challenge, You have to find 6 tomes and the first 3 were very clear with a quest option that clearly tells you where to go and what to do. Running out of ideas on this one. I can't seem to figure out how to get the last switch to disable the crystal in this area. I can see the switch across the water but cannot reach it. Any hints?

I've just started my playthrough, but activating the "always dash option" doesn't seem to increase my walking speed. Does this only apply to the game's first locations or does the "always dash option" not work at all? Edit: It seems I can't run/dash at all. The game seems promising, but I don't really want to traverse the game's world at a snail's pace....
