Here we go cyber-jockeys and neuro-fiber-heads!

Better later than never, right? Ha, first regular content update it's here!

(when you’re a one-guy-studio it’s a reason to go: weeeee!)

Well, it's not like game got updated just right now - there were several minor releases along the way, throughout last couple of weeks, but this message is to summarize it all and close this chapter of the content progression.

This update was mainly focused on the two things:

1. Improve Early Access version gameplay: new map, emitters gameplay, hacker girl
2. Cracking up nuts-n-bolts in several key game systems

First of all - there's new map. Any of you who tried game before noticed that map available from the beginning was not exactly exciting, to say the least. I strongly believe now it's more fun to play, especially that emitters gameplay is there. You can also hear hacker girl – she guides you through emitters thing. You can’t see her yet she takes her time… but she is coming!

Graphics update (new materials, textures, lighting, etc.) was followed by improvements in the key game systems. Key elements to mention:

• AI was tuned particularly for tight-corridor action
  
• Improvements to portable grenade launcher gameplay and grenade projectile behavior, esp. blast damage
  
• New post-processing setup to make it more robust and flexible
  
• Completely rewritten internal event system that speeds up considerably gameplay development and integration of various systems and components
  
• New emitter influence post-processing effect
  
• Lot of fixes in map traversing and navigation department – starting with map layout and finishing on tuning objects colliders and lighting
  
• Tuning of the AI spawn rates and behavior, to make it play along nicely with emitter system

I can go into details and bore you to death with technical mambo-jumbo so I think it would be much more interesting to try it yourself!

Afterall that’s the sole reason I decided to go Early Access – to hear from you! My grandma already loves it...

As a quick follow up to some of the issues raised by one of the players, Cyberception update is available to download.

Improvements:

• Changed start location, to not be exposed to auto-cannons fire
  
• Loot generation on enemy deaths should be now better suited to current player inventory
  
• Added mission screen
  
• Added controls screen

This is a hot-fix, so, weekly content update is yet to come!
