Can't teleport with Oculus Quest 2 controllers

Application starts, after some flickering of the language selection screen, language is selectable, then I find myself in front of the Louvre's pyramid. Narrator tells a little about the Louvre and indications to press the joystick button to teleport. So far so good. However, pressing any of the joystick buttons won't teleport anywhere, and one is stuck outside in front of the pyramid without being able to do anything else, besides looking around. You really can't tell from the painting itself but apparently it wasn't cool to just let your hair go uncovered so yeah, she's got something on her head

I guess one way it'd be really hard to forge an old painting like this is because of the cracks in the paint and the age of the varnish and other stuff.
