is this game worth a buy?

I heard it has problems with online but as a single player game how is it? if its not good I might get payday the heist instead.

I got a Steam key from Amazon when I bought the Microsoft 5-Game Arcade Pack for $9.99 which is £6.23 UK pounds.

If you wanted to buy it singly from Amazon (US delivery fake address required for customers outside the US) it is currently $3.75 which is £2.37 UK pounds.

I have no problems with framerate let alone game-breaking framerates. I don't play Multiplayer and for the Amazon price it is most definately worth it. Steam price at present and I would not pay it but maybe wait for 50% off sale.

As you say you don't play MP that renders the post above mine irrelevant.

Payday the Heist is baaad, very bad indeed.

This game on XBOX Live arcade was amazing. The singleplayer is fun but I personally found it had little replay value without co-op. Its fun but without having 3 other people there with loadouts that compliment yours you end up hitting a wall in terms of acheivments, that being the loot getting/survival wave completing type not the steam kind. Great game but multiplay really fills it out for its entertainment value. Major Nelson actually made a video specificly about this game talking about he really wanted this to succeed.

This. The game is fundamentally broken to the point where it is literally unplayable.

It is never going to be fixed.
