Also, multiplayer is broken.
Sorry. :|
lol got me! Listen... I was in a desperate spot and wanted to get to 500 games as quickly as possible... if it's any consolation to my boycotting... I paid no more than a dollar per game. So they got nothing from me.
Plus I was mainly speaking about DoubleFine and not MGS.
I wonder if that would give any hope the frame rate cap to be removed by them...? Probably not... :(
There is this thing called 'Intellectual Property'. Under the sub-category of 'facts'.
Cool, so we'll just ignore the fact that this game is completely abandoned by double fine despite:
1) Scrap stutter bug. This one is huge and completely game breaking. It literally stops you progressing if you get too far
2) Multiplayer matchmaking being broken. You can't find any games and will never - ever - get a 4 player match without it disconnecting.
3) the 30 fps cap. This is ridiculous in a modern pc game.
4) the awful performance issues that stop the game running smoothly on most peoples machines. We're talking about an xbox-live arcade game FFS - it's HORRIBLY optimised.
I love how they blame microsoft for all these things despite the fact it's clearly their fault xD
It's entirely DF's fault that this game has a ridiculous 30fps limit and microsoft have said that anyone can remove GFWL from their games whenever they want. DF don't care though.
for anyone to obey them. What could happen anyways?
It's not just this game they're abandoning now, they've just announced they're going to abandon Starbase DF-9 with only a fraction of the content they promised people.
