Game is immediately crashing on startup

I wanted to play isaac today but was suprised to see that it would crash instantly. I tried numerous things to try and fix the crash including, deleting adn reinstalling the game thorugh steam, verifying the game cache, running as administrator, running with compatibility for older windows OS's, Opting out of the steam beta update program. Nothing has worked. The game continues to to crash on startup

I also tried downlaoding and playing the version of the game hosted by the humble bundle 7. But the same thing happens with that instance of the game as well.

I am currently running Windows 7 on an amd fx8350 with an amd hd readeon 7970


If anyoen can help me try and fix this so i can play the game, I would appreciate it greatly.

yes, I currently have flash 11.8.800.94 and I tried installing and reinstalling flash a couple times. is there a specific version of flash needed to run the game? maybe an older version?

thats plugin flash u need to download the flash standalone exe from here http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer.html then download the Flash Player 11.8 Beta Standalone Debuggers for windows

If i just want to play the game I can do it multiple ways, I can use my laptop, I can run it in a Windows XP virtual machine on my desktop, but i'm trying to figure out what this error i'm getting is.

I cannot do what you described above because the game DOES NOT LAUNCH, not even for a second, that's what immediate crash on startup means. I appreciate your help, but waht you posted above did not help.

I've read that the Exception Code: c0000005 error is some sort of memory issue
