Operation Whiteout - The Lonely Thief SP Speedrun Competition

Hey thieves. I'm Chromia, and I'm here to introduce you to another competiton: Operation Whiteout. This competition will last starting now till Saturday, Nov 1 . Special thanks to Perfect Competition, aka Free Market, for making this possible.

The bushes rustled as the thief dove under its branches. The sound of blaring alarms filled the air. Breathing heavily, he watched as armed men in suits swarmed his position. He tensed as their searching gaze passed his hiding spot. After a while, they left and he breathed a sigh of relief. How did it come to this? He wondered to himself. He was alone, his crew had left him behind in Monaco, something about a new life in Vegas. It was hard to infiltrate banks by himself, there were too many cameras.. too many gaurds. He leaned backward and felt a sudden give in the wall behind him. Turning around, he pressed thoughtfully.. a secret passage. Scrawled above the hole was a name..

A little bit about myself:

If you have been unfortunate enough to be playing by yourself in Monaco, you might have noticed my name on the top 4 in nearly every campaign map. Achieving this was no easy task. I have spent over 500 hours in this game making sure that my name, (first as Nonon Jakuzure, later as Chromia) stays there.
As I am retiring from Monaco, I would like to celebrate the fun I had SP speedrunning.. by wiping my name off the leaderboards.

Rules:

The maps being run include the Enchanced mode Locksmith Campaign (not including Prison Break and Epilogue), The Pickpocket Campaign, and Fin.

This is a SINGLE PLAYER only competition. The only team is yourself.

This competition is scored based on a point based system. Several variables determine on how many points each person receives. There are 3 catergories.

Achieving All TimeTop 10:
By achieving Top 10 in a map grants you a certain amount of points:

• Locksmith Campaign map: 1 point
  
• Pickpocket Campaign map: 2 points
  
• FIN Campaign map: 3 points

Achieving All Time Top 4:
If you manage to get top 4 on a map, you get additional points.

• Locksmith Campaign map: 1 point
  
• Pickpocket Campaign map: 2 points
  
• FIN Campaign map: 3 points

Beating My Time:
If you beat my time, you get an additional point for that map.

Here are two example scores,

Example 1:
Mr. A gets first place on After the Fire. (My current time is 1st place)
He gets 3 points for getting Top 10 in a Fin campaign, an additional 3 points for it being Top 4, and 1 point for beating my time for a grand total of 7 points.

Example 2:
CARL! gets 7th place on Devil's Trick. (My current time is 3rd place)
He gets 2 points for getting Top 10 in a Pickpocket Campagin, and 0 points for not getting Top 4 and beating me.

Points will be tallied on Saturday and will be rolled over to the next week.

If a person who is participating the contest already has an all time 10th place or higher, they must beat their old time in order to claim credit. This is to prevent legacy speedrunners from auto winning the contest.
Your times will only be counted if you sign up first.

Free Market has generously decided to help me keep track of the score using her leaderboards program. However, if there is any dispute about the final scores, talk to me first and I will personally resolve the issue.

Submissions:

As Perfect Competition is keeping track of score there is no need to present screenshots of your times. However, you are free to do so in the dicussion thread below. This will serve as a way to determine your own points for self reference.

Hey everyone,

I endorse this competition! Well, I am helping keep track of the scores, so : P

At least on my end of things, the competition 'window' is the span between when I captured the weekly data on October 18th, 9h37 Eastern Time (UTC-5 hours) until when I capture the data on Saturday, November 1st (I won't commit to a specific time, but probably the morning).

I can speak more about the methodology, if people have questions. But it will be similar to the technique I use to keep track of each week's newest runs. And while Chromia will handle any disputes, I also just straight up have the screenshots of the leaderboards from October 18th, so it's possible to check this by hand if there's a technical failure.
