I actually just started playing, done two bot training games then when my first co op match was about to begin the game closed and sent me back to desktop with no warning or reason. I'll play it for a bit to get my money's worth (humble bundle) but the game feels very half baked, it has some real potential but just doesn't feel like it was ready.

Yes, I can see that but that doesn't really help me as I can't even connect to a game with these other apparent 700 players. I was dead excited to try the game but now my excitment is just drying up.

Hi All - So sorry for the frustrations :( I'm monitoring Twitter and many users are reporting that Steam is definitely down for them. Your inability to get into a game with other players might be due to the issue Steam seems to be having right now. I'll keep an eye on Steam's status and report back what I know.

It's great that Steam is working fine for you, however for over an hour now other players have been reporting that Steam is down for them.

Thank you for your help. From what I've managed to play I'm enjoying the game very much (Been playing as Galadriel :D ) So, hopefully by the time I come to play tomorrow the game I can actually get a full match.

Don't be fooled by those statistics. That is the number of people running the game application. They are just idling at the main menu for card drops, and will uninstall the game once they have them all.
