ABANDONWARE DOESN'T EVEN RUN ON MODERN SYSTEMS

I cannot get King Midas to make a muffler. I initiate the discussion (talk to him) and ask him to use his superpower. The screen briefly goes black and then returns to wherever I was when I asked him to demonstrate his power. I never get a chance to pick an object to transform or hear/see his response. What am I missing? Does he need a specific item? Should I have a different video setting?...

Glad to see it brought over to Steam. It's a hidden gem. Thanks for releasing it.

These powers crack me up! The guy who increase everyone's cholesterol has saved my butt so many times. I am so happy this is on steam now! :)
