Races Not starting

Every time I start a race, it just sits at "Get Ready" and nothing happens.

Any help please?

I assume your talking about playing the online version your waiting for everyone elses computer speeds sync up.. try joining channal death ral and always play the friends race i'm trying get as many people there so we can actually play onliners snce there doesn't seem to be that many.

Try pressing forward button (W / Up arrow, whatever).

This happened to me! I figured out it was because I changed the keys to make firing and boosting easier. Make sure you set the steering keys to w,a,s,d after you make your desired changes.

Yeah, I cannot ge t a race to start. What a fail at a free weekend!

mine seemed to sort itself out when i moved to a controller.

very odd, but its working now, thanks for the suggestions.

I just assumed it was because noone was playing. :(
