Screen tearing

I've played the original death rally a million times and loved it. Had to buy this game when I saw this on steam sale. Anyway..

There's a real bad screen tearing issue and I can't find Vertical Sync on settings. Is there a way to set it on manually or did I just miss it?

I also have the same problem, it goes away when you go to settings and switch the graphics from extreme to high or medium, doesn't matter, as long as you change it and tearing goes away. but when I start the game again next time, I have to change it back, cuz the tearing still remains. annoying but this is only a temporary solution :/ I'm also a veteran of the old death rally, would be really good if there's some kind of a fix for this. cheers

Alt-tabbing solves the tearing for me.
