Can my elderly computer illerate dad play this?
My elderly (74yo) dad hates computers but loves ticket to ride. Lately he's been playing TTR a LOT by himself and playing all 3 players himself because my mom doesn't like to play as much. He can do some some computer tasks that he's had to learn over the years (like stock research) but really he still has trouble with web browsing sometimes (my mom helps him, she's good with computers).

I'm thinking about getting TTR for pc for him but worried it made just frustrate him, but at least he could have computer opponents. Multiplayer would not be good for him because he takes a long while to think on turns.

So my questions are:
1. Is there small type font he'd have trouble with?
2. Is there an undo button in single player games? Is the interface somewhat forgiving to mistakes or misclicks?
3. Is the interface pretty simplistic to use?

1. I don't think so. The font isn't ridiculously small, the smallest fonts are pretty large, just make sure he's playing fullscreen.
2. No, there is not.
3. More or less. To start a game, you click 'play', then the number of players, then play. The game itself is laid out very nicely/cleanly/as you'd expect it to be on a table.

What you would need to do initially is spend some time with him to familiarise him with the game, but ultimately, it's not that hard to grasp, and it's laid out pretty easily.

I sincerely hope this helps, and God bless your family for loving Ticket to Ride!

i think he would enjoy it, while there is no undo button ingame, the game it is quite hard to accidently misclick, and as you hover over the stations(dots) in game the starting point and endpoint of a track will be highlighted

Thanks, I think it's worth a try. I'll set up a steam account for my parents, play a couple games then show him how.
