I've noticed through experimentation that leveling characters by way of the bonus experience that you gain over time only ever awards 3 stat points for every level. This is in contrast where combat levels consistently give 4 - 7 points. Is this expected behavior? In FT 1 it was based on the growth rates IIRC so now to use my BXP I top up characters to 99xp and let them get their next level in combat....
