I try to play Skirmish, but i can not play it , it seem to be game speed at 1000x ??

Title. All that happens is that after 100% the loading screen vanish and I end up on an empty map with no base or workers, just fog of war covering it all.

I select the offline mode to play against the AI, but at the start of the game I can't play, it remains pending as if there were no players. However, I manage to play the campaign mode and even more bizarre I manage to play the demo in skirmish mode...

They say I can use a nuke but there is no icon or option in site. Is it just me or is this mode bugged? I don't know for sure.
