The Defender: Farm and Castle is a short straightforward but interesting blend of tower defense and small city resource management with light RPG elements. Although it isn't much to look at the gameplay is surprisingly solid and is a fun little game to spend some time on.

Gameplay
The game is a blend of multiple different genres where it is mainly a tower defense where you must defend your castle as an archer and defeat waves of enemies that come out at night. As you kill enemies you gain experience and as you level up you get skill points to spend to upgrade your skills and make it easier to beat harder waves.
Your castle is where the city and resource management comes in as you need to upgrade buildings and construct resources nodes to produce more resources and spend on upgrades.

Achievements aren't hard to complete but does take some time.
