Hi there spinners!

We've just put the VR mode up on 'communitysneakpeek'.

If you haven't tried this branch before, the beta key is 'earlieraccess'.

This version also has a few other improvements, such dropdowns in the UI for multi-choice items and an improved practice mode that uses cue points again.

You can also try the two new Chillhop tracks which will be released for free alongside the DLC on July 9.

I have accepted defeat.

I will never get good at this game because I literally cannot keep up with the game past Expert. There is so much crap coming down the chart it's just not feasible for me. Puts my brain and eyes into shock. Hell I tried practice mode on some songs and slowed it down to 70% and still can;t make my hands move fast enough to hit the ridiculous amounts of color swaps, spins and holds that some of these songs throw at you. It sucks because there is a fine line gap in my skill where Hard is too easy and most of...

VR Release Date Announcement!

VR trailer is live!

What's up Spinners!

We have officially passed certification on PlayStation! It was a long road, and doing 2 consoles (PS4 + PS5) plus an entirely new VR mode was a bit of a job, but we got it done.

Check out our trailer below (VR mode starts at 40s).

Motion controls feel great on VR. The game becomes a kind of interdimensional drumkit. You move your dominant hand into the wheel to engage it (acting as a tap and hold). Moving your hand while it's engaged moves the wheel, and your off hand can be used for beats by tapping outside the wheel.

Using the regular PlayStation gamepads you can do the usual shenanigans (motion controls, regular stick controls) and we've also added support for the touch pad. It's a bit of a gimmick, but pretty fun to try out.

We've had a few people ask, and I wanted to officially say it here, the PC VR version will be an entirely free update released on the same day as the PlayStation version.

Unfortunately the song plays regardless of whether the note is taken or not... Song goes on in full, without losing any sounds . There's no feeling of creating the song as if you were in a band. Seeing song still carries on even when you make a mistake, ruins everything. The song becomes an accompaniment disconnected from the game. As if we moved windows cursor to the rhythm of a song we were listening to on the radio. In DJ Max Respect V you can't hear missed notes, why doesn't the same thing happe...

Mimic (Hard)... too hard for its difficulty level

Could someone please reevaluate Mimic on Hard? That is NOT a difficulty 15. That's barely even still worthy of Hard instead of Expert. (And also, isn't Expert where Lifts are supposed to start coming in?)

its a good rythym game i have played it using KBM, Turntable and now with vr as well KBM was alright but i would highly reccomend using a turntable as far as vr goes for it being in beta its not bad a bit odd for tho as currently they have only 4 setting on both right hand and left that being auto, wheel, beat, manual personally manual felt best however it had the issue where to move the wheel was the button used for beat which sucks since the wheel felt best on my right hand but so did the beat button in the end i used manual on left and then beat on right. if they add more options i would like the button used on manual to be mapable for the player that way i can use my right hand for wheel and beat without the funky workings of having to have my cursor over the wheel.

The extra ranting is for the current beta for the vr and my current issues for it if you are wondering if i think this game is any good my answer is an outstanding yes so much so i think it is worth buying a turntable to make the experience better
